Mohamed S. Jalloh, Esq., founding partner of Jalloh & Jalloh LLC, has been a licensed practicing attorney in the State of New Jersey for 18 years. Mr. Jalloh received his Juris Doctor from Rutgers University Law School-Newark with an undergraduate degree from Syracuse University with a major in Communications and dual minor in Marketing and African American studies.
Mr. Jalloh began his legal career working for legal services programs where he represented low-income individuals in matters involving family law, consumer and housing laws, and domestic violence matters. He also worked as an Assistant County Counsel for the County of Union primarily working with contracts, tort litigation and government regulations.
Mr. Jalloh currently serves as Borough Attorney for Roselle, Labor Attorney for the Borough of Fanwood, Prosecutor for the City of Linden, and the Township of Franklin and Borough of Jamesburg. In addition, Mr. Jalloh currently serves as the Attorney for the Special Improvement Districts in the City of Linden and the Borough of Somerville, as well as Union Township’s Planning Board Attorney. Along with providing litigation support for many other public entities, Mr. Jalloh has experience in transactional work as well advising nonprofit organizations, small business, boards of education and charter schools.
Mr. Jalloh, a native of Union County, served on the Board of Chosen Freeholders from 2010 to 2019. A staunch advocate for education, Mr. Jalloh served as an adjunct professor at Kean University where he has taught debate, public speaking, communications and the law, and negotiations. Jalloh has sat as a member of the advisory board for his alma mater, Roselle Catholic High School and has served on the advisory board for Saint Josephs the Carpenter of Roselle.
Mr. Jalloh is the founder of Live Life Virtually, an educational software and program dedicated to teaching life skills and financial literacy to young adults, and founder of the Civic Knights a 501 (C)(3) community service organization. In addition, Mr. Jalloh is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, Garden State Bar Association, Union County Bar Association, NAACP- Roselle and Metuchen Branches and the Urban League of Union County Young Professionals.
